Salut everyone!
So this is me, out and about in a round about sort of way, and this site is my way of making a substack, a linktree, pulling together some photos, thoughts and yeah, likes, into a more permanent bloggy thing!!
Posts disappear in time, thoughts and the heart don't... They evolve and grow. Let's see how I do it here...
You got here, probably from my BlueSky or Vero publications. I'd since put my Bluesky account as suspended because there is just so much crap on there for me to be arsed to figure out a better way ..... right now i'm back online but not getting in any lists, being careful.... weird world, eh ?
These platforms are always restricted to resuming ourselves in 160 characters or 320 characters or less, which is just silly really.
Also, though great when used wisely, they create silos of ourselves. We aren't necessarily behind a paywall, but at least a registration wall...
Don't start me on Meta : i turned that shit off and killed my accounts on FB/Insta/WA as a protest - the one superpower we have is that of choice to consume, to participate.
But it's only a superpower when we are synergic and creating emulation in our choices.
Anyway, this is me or at least parts of who I am that I’m bringing together and taking ownership of.
I can still share media opinions and articles, states of mind as posts/threads/skeets/whatever you wanna call them.
These things are like fireworks in the sky, they last for a while, sometimes go high, but ultimately fizzle out.
The point of taking ownership is to show the one thing, the two things, the hundred things, whatever things I think matter and make me who I am.
Of course these are the public ones: I can share private ones with a subset of people because I own my data and this website !
